****HIATUS****

Due to recent family medical issues, Moments by Mindy will be going on a hiatus. Anyone that already has a session scheduled with me-that session will still take place when planned-but I will not be scheduling any new appointments at this time. I am unsure when I will start back, but I will update on this blog. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

This morning my first baby went back to school!! Sela is now in 3rd grade and I can't believe it! She decided she wanted to ride the bus this year, so we rode down to the bus stop on the golf cart and waited! She was so excited, but a little nervous, and so was momma :) Hope you enjoy the images above-they make me wanna cry :)

Well this afternoon I had the honor of taking pictures of my friend Ashley and her daughter Emily. As many of you know, Ashley is a photographer-go check her out by clicking here-Nicholson Photography-and she does great work! I asked her awhile back to take pics of me and my girls, so today, we did a combo session-she took our pics and I took some of her and Emily. This one is my absolute favorite from today....I can't wait to see the ones she took of us...Ashley, can you believe we at least got this shot ? ;)

who are you and why did you wake me up from my nap?!?!

i recently took some random shots at my friend's newly opened daycare and just couldn't wait to get the release signed so i could post this precious little girl!! she had just awaken from her nap and truly did NOT want me taking pics of her, but she kept staring at me and i had to keep snapping!! those big brown eyes and sweet little lips-i swear i could take her home with me!! just had to share!!

peyton did NOT want to sleep!!

i had the joy of photographing sweet little peyton yesterday. he, however, did not like the idea of sleeping for his session!! he wanted to stay awake and check everything out! i was very pleased with his session and will have all images uploaded in a few days. just wanted to share a teaser :) i captured his momma's preggo belly in jan! so glad he is here now and looking cute as ever!!! please keep him in your prayers-i found out that he is in the hospital with some type of infection-bless his little heart. we love you peyton and are praying you get well soon!

3 lovely ladies and a precious doggy!!

just wanted to post an image from a session i did right before Christmas-that i felt very honored to be able to do! the oldest sister is in the military, about to leave for iraq, and was only in town for a few days. the middle sister wanted desperately to have their pictures done while they were all 3 together-and i was so happy she contacted me! anyways, loved the sweet little dog too!! i just want to thank big sister for her sacrifices she makes for all of us, for our country-I/WE THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
